Hailing from Sheffield, UK and growing up in a musical family, Michael started his musical career as a drummer. Playing in a Jazz orchestra, indie band (Seven Hills) and a death metal band. His hunger for electronic music was sparked through his older brother who was a resident & DJ at Gatecrasher Nottingham. Needless to say his love for house music was infectious and Michael soon caught the bug. Michael took the technicality he achieved as a drummer to playing percussion around the country. This say him perform alongside Ali Whitehead, Graeme Park, Brandon Block & for Hedkandi.
After completing a fine arts degree, Michael took to production and DJ'ing in Sheffield, reclaiming his childhood nick name "Ozzie". He founded "All Over It Records" an underground house label and "Underground Heroes", putting on nights around the North of England.
Michael's distinctive DJ style hints towards a compulsive approach to crate digging- playing out and an inspirational blend of rare, classic and modern tracks. His sound comes deep yet bouncing. With strong bass lines, and loose rhythms keeping the emphasis on the groove.
With several late releases in 2013, 2013 is looking to be a solid year with a many pending releases, remixes and collaborations on the cards. His unique style of bass line and bumpy grooves are set to create and deliver subtle yet challenging electronic music.
